Brothers and sisters do not talk on the platform. If accepted, the brother contacts the sister's walī. That is where the conversation begins.
No photos.
No profile pictures. Nothing public, nothing shareable.
No talking stages.
No private conversations between brothers and sisters. If there is interest, it goes to the walī. That is it.
No browsing profiles.
Your profile is never a feed. You can’t scroll people, and people can’t scroll you.

Build your profile.
Sisters: register your walī's name and contact. No profile goes live without it. Brothers: complete your profile and apply when you're ready.

Answer real questions.
Manhaj, salāh, who you study with, work, where you want to live, plans for children. The things families actually ask.

The wali handles what comes next.
If an application is accepted, the brother is given the sister's walī's contact. No direct messaging. No exceptions.
مَنْ تَزَوَّجَ فَقَدِ اسْتَكْمَلَ نِصْفَ الدِّينِ، فَلْيَتَّقِ اللَّهَ فِي النِّصْفِ الْبَاقِي
“Whoever marries has completed half of his religion, so let him fear Allah in the remaining half.”

This is the weight under which we are building SOK Match. We are not shipping a product. We are facilitating the half of someone’s dīn. We pray that Allah accepts this work, corrects what is broken in it, and removes from it whatever displeases Him.

Is there a fee?
The waitlist is free. When we open, there’ll be a modest membership fee to keep things serious and to fund a small team. Waitlist members get the founding price, locked in.
When do you open?
No firm date yet. We’re being deliberate about who’s on the platform at launch. Waitlist members are notified first.
What if I don’t have a wali?
Then SOK Match isn’t ready for you yet. That’s a kindness, not a rejection. We’ll share a short guide on assigning a wali before launch. Brothers: family involvement is expected from the start too.
Can I message someone directly?
No. There’s no messaging between brothers and sisters on the platform. The first conversation goes through walīs. If both sides progress, supervised meetings are arranged the right way.
Will I see photos?
Not on the platform. A photo may be shared privately at a serious stage, through walīs, with both sides agreeing. Never public, never stored as a profile picture.
What about my data?
Treated as a trust. Encrypted, never sold, never shown to other users. You can ask us to delete everything at any time.
Is this part of SOK Academy?
Built by the same team but a separate platform. SOK Academy is for seeking knowledge. SOK Match is for marriage. Same team, same standards.
